Pumpkin weekend

This weekend was fun! My brother flew down to take a firefighting test, and the three of us (james, erik and myself) went to the pumpkin patch! Later that night, I got together with friends from Brian and Jenn's wedding for a housewarming party :)

Seriously, though, how is it the end of October already? It's still super warm outside, and there hasn't been a cloud in weeks. Halloween falls on a friday this year, which is kind of nice, but a lot of schools don't have classes on friday. Strange. On a totally unrelated note, I played the violin last night! It was fun, even though I had no clue what I was doing.
Lastly, I voted! Hope everyone else did too!

Congrats on voting! I doubt that CT has early voting.

Wow, I can't say the same about the candy on our counter.

I'm not doing anything other than just sit around and see if any of the kids come by. This is the first time we've been in Goshen for halloween, so hopefully there'll be more people swing by than last year.

And tell James that I think he's awesome for the Obama pumpkin.

well, i'm trying to. i'm going to do it for this month, and then i'm done. i'm also going to be doing nanowrimo this month, so it's sort of like a way of making up for the fact that i'm going to stop doing the daily blogging once december comes around
