One of the awesome things about living in a city where "winter weather" is a comfortable 70 degrees: warm sunsets.

And in other news, I am no longer a pie virgin: i (helped) make my very first pie this weekend. james made the crust from scratch and i made (er, mixed simple ingredients together) the filling and it was delish.

actually, i'd be kinda worried if mine were in there, seeing how there's a heart carved into it.
i miss warm sunsets, i totally took them for granted when i was in florida. now i'm lucky to have days like today where it gets to 40 degrees.
Lol, that's what I did last night! I wish we were having a SoCal winter... It has gotten cold up here fast... Every year I think I am ready for it, and every year I am knocked on my butt by how cold it gets... Thanks for your comment on my blog :) My stove was way cleaner than normal... I think my husband had one of his manic cleaning moments and attacked said stove before I messed it all up again :)
